AUTUMN GLORIES

This past week, two more pilots got their glider ratings:  Merrick Cohn and Michael Wetsman.  We've been using the word CONGRATULATIONS often around here lately, and it feels better all the time!  Just remember guys, now comes the fun part...Meanwhile, the season surely has changed.  This coming week we can expect pleasantly cool days with breezes from a different direction each day (but likely not much strong wind), and standard thermals to a modest 9,000 feet or so.   Also, Friday will bring a very good chance of bow wave north of the mountains -- always a delightful change of pace.
