Bigger, Better THERMALS!

We all enjoyed a fine reunion last Saturday, welcoming faces from long ago - and a few from far away as well.   Strong wind threatened to spoil the party, but some higher power (the ghosts of old-timers no longer able to attend perhaps?) quited the blowing dust, allowing an ideal ambiance in time for our outdoor dinner.   The surest way to prove the old saw that 'the more things change they more they stay the same' is to have a reunion!   And many thanks to everyone who made this wonderful event possible!This week we'll see more springtime improvement in soaring conditions, not so affected this time by gusty winds.  Hide and watch:  once the vertical flow exceeds the horizontal our thermals will regain the bodaciousness they're famous for...
