CONGRATULATIONS ANDREW

Our congratulatory nod this time goes go commercial pilot Andrew Purkeypile, who flew his first glider solo last week.   Sky's the limit now, Andrew! At most soaring sites, predictable breeze with blue thermals climbing six knots or better to a mile and a half above ground - or higher - would be about as good as it gets.   This week at Crystal, that will describe every single day, all day - unless it turns out even better.    Chance of overdevelopment, a thunderstorm, or even significant shading:  ZERO.    If southerly winds pick up late in the day that could shut the mountains down, but feed strong shearline in the desert and maybe wave as well.As we say so often, WHAT A PLAYGROUND!
