HAPPY SUMMER SOLSTICE

Yup, we've reached that point in the cycle where the days are longest and the sun is highest in the sky. Despite precdictions of an unusually hot season, our temperatures here in the Antelope Valley have been delightfully moderate... so far. Our soaring conditions also have been somewhat modest, with fine thermals (or WAVE) every single day, though still short of the tremendous stuff we're known for. The coming week will offer lite westerlies and temps in the nineties. You sure won't need a coat, but it wouldn't hurt to have a hat handy!
