HI ALL!

Last week we mentioned temperature lapse rate as the determinant factor for the quality of thermal production - and as it turned out, very flat temperature gradients through that period made cross-country activity impractical. Well, nothing ever stays the same, so now, (on Thursday morning), we're seeing lapse rates strong as it gets. And that's with record- or near record heat! If this continues long enough, we can expect ideal soaring conditions for the coming weekend.

No clouds in the foreseeable future, however, and we really should be praying for RAIN...
