MIDSUMMER MIGHT SCREAM

Here we are hiding in the Mojave desert while the whole world records the warmest year ever, yet for us it has been cooler than average so far.  Temps in the eighties and low nineties have been a pleasant surprise, especially this past week with big clouds providing shade and dropping an occasional shower.  The coming week is scheduled to remain sunny and gradually warm up a little, but still well short of ordinary summer heat.  Keep listening though.  August comes next, and we may soon hear the sound of that other shoe dropping...
