MIDSUMMER WEEK'S DREAM

Last week was pleasant for being outside, but far from ideal for soaring. No doubt about it, our climate is changing. This week however, should be a normal one for the high desert, meaning light southerlies and big fat thermals to up around 14,000 MSL. And again, the lift should be well marked by fluffy cumulus that also provide a welcome bit of shade.
