SOARING FORECAST JUNE 21-24, 2013
THIS WEEK - CLASSIC SUMMER SOARING CONDITIONSConsistent this weekend. Not much change for the period which means the good soaring conditions will stick around. Seasonally warm temps (mid 90's) and moderate winds out of the west will create classic big thermals and easy soaring conditions throughout the weekend. It might get a bit breezy in the afternoon on Friday but the wind will be down the runway and will be welcome esp. on takeoffs.Dr. Jacks thermal uplift forecast indicates we'll have up to 600 FPM of lift at the field for the entire period.Lift should power up early and last until after we shut down towing operations. Don't miss out. A great weekend on tap!
