SOARING FORECAST MAY 10-13, 2013

THIS WEEKVery good soaring weekend approaching. Temperatures will increase markedly as the weekend progresses. Excellent thermal activity forecast with lift exceeding 600 FPM over wide areas of Antelope Valley.Dr. Jacks forecast for Friday indicates we'll have 600 to 800 FPM of lift at the field to above 12,000 feet.  Saturday improves with strong lift over wide areas to altitude of 15,000 feet.Residual moisture from the departing low pressure system will result in classic puffy CU's likely marking lift. Perfect! Pretty sure we will have strong convergence lift over our San Gabriel mountain range.
