THERMAL SEASON!

It's like clockwork, only you don't have to wind it.  Each year the middle of March is when we get back to having soarable thermals every day - with the possible exception of leftover wave now and then.  Last week we had thermals every day we were open, though they weakened the one time it clouded over.  Tuesday brought fat cumulus across the desert with bases up around 11,000 feet.  Wednesday saw so much convection it built up over the mountains and stormed there all afternoon.  Today (Thursday) looks like tall blue thermals, and the same for Friday.  This coming weekend will bring more of that - with light wave also possible on both S-days.  Viva la Crystal!
