WEEKEND SOARING FORECAST, SEPTEMBER 23 THROUGH 26, 2011
Clear skies with puffy CU's and warm moderate temps throughout the weekend. Southerly wind component will dominate through Sunday then will turn North on Monday. Excellent lift up to 13,000 and 15,000 feet forecast Friday and Saturday. Due to the predominateley south wind this period, look to our EAST for the shearline which should be indicated by a cloudstreet marching toward the northeast horizon Friday through Sunday.
Dr. Jacks Soaring Predictions indicate we will have lift of 650 feet per minute to 15,000 feet at the field Friday.
