Weekend Wx (good as expected)

... with thermals down low, and wave up high.   As winds increased to 50 knots at 15,000 feet, pilots reported wave over the punch bowl from spurs of the San Gabriel's, and out over the valley as well.  No one bothered to climb higher than 15,000, but there was lift still good above that altitude.
