CURRENT SOARING FORECAST FOR SCSA (CRYSTALAIRE - 46CN) JANUARY 21-24, 2011 THIS WEEKEND : The Santa Ana conditions we are having will end Thursday night with generally calm wind conditions forecast for our desert area. Saturday a brief brush from the passage of a low pressure trough will cancel the offshore flow but Sunday through Monday the dry easterly flow will return although we do not expect any winds of note.It will be sunny and pleasant at the field throughout this period. With each day getting longer and spring just around the corner it is a good time to schedule some time with an instructor to get current or add new skills to your repertoire.
