CURRENT SOARING FORECAST NOV 12-15, 2010
CURRENT SOARING FORECAST FOR SCSA (CRYSTALAIRE - 46CN) NOV 12-15, 2010 THIS WEEKEND A predominately NORTHERLY flow will dominate our weather this period. It will be pleasant and sunny at the field. All of our usual lift sources should be in play. If the wind is from the Northeast, look for lifted parcels downwind of our desert features such as Grey Butte. RIDGE LIFT, BOW WAVE AND CONVERGENCE (SHEAR) should all be in play together or at various times throughout the period. Sharpen those mental and stick skills that may have gotten rusty with all the lift we've had consistently this year.
