MIDWINTER DAYDREAM

It's now exactly the middle of calendar winter, but for our purposes as soaring pilots we may as well begin celebrating - our winter 's almost over.  We start getting our first thermals typically in mid-February, and the coming week should feature light winds warmer temps each day.Last weekend the gang took another road trip scouting cross-country landing sites east of here, and according to reports it was well worth the effort.  Thanks to Peter Kovari for organizing those cats into a respectable herd and then keeping them on the road!
