MORE CONGRATULATIONS

Jim Payne and Dennis Tito's recent efforts have earned them the number one position in the world on the OLC (On-Line-Contest).   Their number one position is in all three OLC categories; distance, speed and triangles.   The OLC has 15,000 participants world-wide.   Jim Payne and Dennis Tito credit The Crystal Wave as a major factor in their success.   According to Jim, "When The Crystal Wave is ripping it's as good and reliable as anything on the Sierra's".  We at Southern California Soaring Academy are proud to provide support to these world record soaring missions.   This world record team is also part of the Perlan Project whose mission is to earn the world altitude record.   For more information on the Perlan Project visit their website:  www.perlanproject.orgAlso, last week Mike Koerner and Dave Raspet of the Crystal Squadron both made flights of nearly 500 miles into central Utah.  Congratulations to one and all!
