MOTIVATION

      One of the deepest loves for a dedicated soaring pilot is the satisfaction of lofting high into the sky, or far across it, fusing creative thought and artful finesse with invisible natural forces that may be vast but are often subtle and transitory.   It is enough for some to float along in gentle, quiet communion with nature seldom conceived by most people, while others are driven by the challenge of finding how far the air's energies can take them, or how quickly.   Whether an individual's aspirations in soaring are modest or wild, this endless sky we breathe really is the only limit.

     Meanwhile, whatever our reason for going up, throughout the entire experience we're surrounded by unobstructed panoramas of landscape and cloudscape for which Signor Da Vinci would have sold his soul.   We soar for the many ways it brings us joy, because we love always learning more, and because we could not live as well without it!
