CURRENT SOARING FORECAST FOR SCSA (CRYSTALAIRE - 46CN) FEBRUARY 18-21, 2011 THIS WEEKEND: A WILD WEEKEND OF WEATHER INTERSPERSED WITH EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR WAVE IS FORECAST.The jetstream is powering an arc of Pacific moisture which will drive across southern California Friday and Saturday. It will quickly dissapate eastward Saturday night leaving us with a good weather outlook for flights on Sunday and improving to downright sunny on Monday. With both the arrival and passage of this front we expect dramatic wave to occur. Sunday and Monday will be the most dramatic wave days. Friday we'll likely see pre-frontal wave.
