SOARING FORECAST FOR SCSA (CRYSTALAIRE - 46CN) JULY 2-5, 2010LAST WEEKENDExcellent thermal soaring conditions throughout the period. A mix of booming thermals, wave, convergence and cloud streets occuring seperately and at times all together. Lifted ceiling heights of appx. 14,000' and above. Squadron pilots flew several cross-country routes some reaching all the way to Utah.THIS WEEKENDA consistent weather trend throughout this period will be gentle to moderate west southwest winds and quite hot surface temperatures. The immediate coastal areas will remain socked in under a persistent marine layer but there will be limitless intense sun in our soaring area. The daily southwest flow will push the hazy marine airmass into the desert furnace each day from the west and the Cajon pass to our east likely lifting and producing streeting along the shearlines to points northeast as the day progresses.
