SOARING FORECAST JUNE 22-25, 2012

SCSA provided over 100 aerotows in very hot thermal conditions Friday thru Monday last week. Great news that so many people are enthusiastic about our passion with soaring. We love to see your smiling faces at the field. THIS WEEKExpect bright sunny and warm weather albeit a few degrees below our seasonal norms. Throughout this period we will be influenced by a large slow moving low pressure system off the Northern California coast. The westerlies will gently but steadily push in from the coast towards the deserts each day. This marine influence will most likely create our classic shearline conditions in combination with some very nice thermal updraft for the duration. Great soaring weather!
