SOARING FORECAST NOVEMBER 16-19, 2012

THIS WEEKEND:Dr. Jacks thermal updraft forecast for Friday and Saturday indicates up to 400 FPM of lift in our local ridges. Despite cooler temperatures and a weak frontal system pushing through, we'll have soarable weather throughout this period.Expect to see moderate to mild westerly breezes as the front arrives and departs appx. Saturday evening. We should have WAVE on Friday with winds aloft at the 10,000 level forecast at 30 knots out of the Southwest. We might have some cloudiness Friday and Saturday but it will be clear sunny skies come Sunday. Please ignore the Los Angeles area forecast with rain predictions in the coastal areas.
