THIS WEEKEND:Another period of increasing above normal temperatures is on tap through Sunday then it will cool a bit but remain high. Winds throughout the period are forecast to be quite calm in the 5 knot range.Dry in a word. The weeks of monsoonal flow and overdevelopment in our area are history for now and we'll see less cloud development marking lift.Lift over our local mountains will likely be marked by cloud though with strong lift over 600 FPM and height of lift to over 12,000 feet through Saturday.We had some extraordinary T-storms and lightning the last two weeks that fried most of the electronics in our office. We are in need of a printer, fax machine, scanner/copier, monitor, PC computer and air conditioner.
