Thermal Season's Here, but Wave Season Continues

The wave we predicted last week began on Thursday night and grew steadily stronger all the way through Sunday afternoon.   By then it was so huge that primary wave sink was dumping directly across our runway.   We had 15-knot lift up there and, let's just say 'commensurate' sink down here.   On Sunday's last flight we proved that it may be necessary for YOU, some day, to begin a landing pattern with 2000 feet AGL, abandon downwind leg with less than 1000, turn in midfield while diving to the surface and use ground effect for a quarter mile to reach a crossfield landing!   Or...
