where the FUN never ends

Lots of our new students are previously rated power pilots seeking what's often called a 'glider add-on'.  They find that, although what we do here is entirely for FUN, it's far more than mere trivial amusement.  It's more like learning a new language.  The challenges of soaring (using gravity as an energy source) demand completely new ways of thinking about how to use an airplane.  And one of the many pleasures is knowing that no matter how much we learn, there will always be MORE to learn!
