Cloud Tops

AUGUST 4:   This period of late July and early August typically brings the very best soaring of the season, and last week proved it once again.   Big cumulus marked gobs of lift, and provided something we see little of here at Crystal:  SHADE.   And again, the lift was not confined to only thermals; we had hints of wave several days as well.  What a playground!
