MORE ON LANDING OUT

As always in soaring, make decisions you are prepared to live with even if they are flawed.  Focus your entire self on precise execution and you should be pleased with the results.  Regardless of any inconvenience or personal embarrassment, the satisfaction of standing by your unharmed ship in a peaceful, foreign field is one of the rarest joys in our wonderful sport – the rarer the better!When you do land out, after securing your ship, think back through the events that brought you here.  What other choices might you have made?  Could different in-flight decisions have kept you aloft, or was your only mistake trying to soar in untenable conditions?
